Slim quits his job and gets high after 100th post in a rushed and irrational form of celebration...
Seattle:
I got the fresh kicks on, a crisp new shirt and the mini fro is uber symmetrical. The sun is shining, bougie juice is in my pimp cup and the strawberry Pop Tart is extra sweet (pause). Why is there an extra bop in my already distinct NYC walk? Today is the day of our 100th post! My swag is on extra high (with two fingers high to the sky). I woke up feeling like Wilt “The Stilt” Chamberlain after his 100th… well, maybe not that good, but you get the idea.
So let young pimpin brag for a minute. I gave the ladies 8 Ways to make sure you kept the man you nabbed, I started the Six Foot Sexy movement and then broke the news like a CNN special that not all dark skinned folk get along. Takes two to tango though, so thanks for letting me be the reason your job productivity has dropped since 8/8/08.
Anyway, it wasn’t just me, there’s a we in Three Ways to Take It. I had two other writers constantly threatening to ship me off back to my many different native lands if I messed up. So without further ado, here are the better two-thirds of Three Ways tripod…
Sowhatiff:
Oh snap. It’s here. 100 entries. I guess when we started this Three Ways thing back in Aug, I never really thought about what it would mean when we got to our 100th entry. Writing this blog, reading my homies’ posts, and reading all your comments, has truly been a pleasure. I brought you some goodness about the size of the boat, gave props to skinny women, and talked about how I like my coffee. This semester (because that is how I still think about my life) has been filled with ups and downs, for sure. But thanks to you all, I have always had something to make me laugh, think, or say “pause”.
To Slim and Seattle, yall already know. I love being a part of this threesome. You always keep it raw real. And to our readers, it is really fly (read humbling) to know that you all look forward to reading my silly little thoughts about random stuff. As always, we will keep the good thronxing entries coming, just to keep you around. Cuz that’s the way it works…right?
Slim:
I remember back in June when I started my first blog and even at my best was only getting like 130 views a day or some BS like that. Being that Seattle is one of my good-haired boys and ultra (Yes, I said ultra) creative, I asked him to jump on-board (pause) and share his writing talents with the world. It wasn’t long (pause) before wet women were wondering who he was and fellas were co-signing on his posts. Great decision and glad he helped start the revolution.
Sowhatiff Jenkins was running a blog of her own at the time that was gaining steam and we thought it’d be a great idea to team up and pull both our audiences together. Needless to say, this has turned into something that none of us expected when we started this ish on August 8th, 2008. Three Ways has come a long way. It used to be cool to get 200 views for a day when we started out. That was an excuse to come home and drink for relatively no reason. But honestly, it’s a better feeling to get over 500 a day, which we’ve been able to do on numerous occasions.
1200+ people have passed through this site, many of which have returned on more than 1 occasion. The average person spends about 5 minutes here and checks out an average of 2+ posts per visit. We have close to 50 subscribers and that number continues to grow every week. We’re averaging more than 30 comments a post nowadays, which speaks volumes given that when we started we averaged like 10 (lol). Other sites are consistently picking us up and adding us to their blogroll (which we will return the favor in due time), and we’re all getting messages behind the scenes from people telling us how our blog almost got them fired from work or was the most stimulation they’ve had in a while.
To summarize, we’re getting it poppin and pizzlin and we ain’t gonna stop now! I’m thankful and appreciative of all the folks who made this site what it is. Without the readers, we’re just talkin to ourselves and lookin crazy. Please make sure you subscribe to our site and that you leave a comment on this post to let us know that you’re out there! Much love and respect from the same guy that pissed people off by explaining why Greeks are superheros in an average world, by shedding light on why men feel the need to cheat, and by telling women how to become a man’s best (female) friend.

There is no greater satisfaction than to be both mentally and sexually stimulated at the same time, with your clothes on, in public. A sharpened awareness for pausable moments has significantly increased the number of times I burst out in to laughter all day, and that’s only a fraction of what I adore about the blog.

Awww, congrats, ya’ll! I found your site in some sort of Six Degrees of Separation type deal. I was at one site that linked to SoWhatiff’s site, that linked to Slim’s site, and then I saw his post linking Three Ways and here I am. I started reading in early September. I caught up in no time and was reading each post daily. It took me a while to actually comment and I’m glad I did. The readers and authors here are like no other and I look forward to a

YAYYYYY Congrats! 100 = very impressive. Thanks to all 3 of you for not kicking me off for the ignorant comments I am often compelled to make.
Yall have given me something other than FB stalk to do with my work days and that means more than anything else.
